HOW WE CLEAN HARDWOOD FLOORS

1. Before we start cleaning hardwood floors, our technicians do a thorough
inspection and determine the material. After identifying the floor, we can pinpoint the best way to clean.
We clean, solid wood, engineered wood, laminate– you name it. Our technicians will make sure to find any pre-existing damages and determine what type of cleaning solution and equipment to use on your floor.

2. Next, we will vacuum the entire area with our powerful vacuum system. After all of the dry soil is removed, the hardwood floor cleaning begins.

3. Our pH-balanced hardwood cleaning solution is applied to your floor at this stage and our high-speed scrubber will start loosening deeply embedded soil and extracting it away.

4. After we deep clean hardwood floors, we will dry the area with a microfiber mop and fan, so your floors can be walked on immediately and
there is no chance of water damage to your floor.

5. Finally, we will complete an inspection with you to make sure you are happy with the service and leave you with clean hardwood floors.

HOW TO DEEP CLEAN HARD WOOD FLOORS?

When cleaning your hardwood floors, the first thing you should ask yourself is what kind of hardwood you have and what kind of cleaner has been used on your floors in the past. If your floors are sealed with polyurethane or wax, use a mild or pH-neutral soap. Stay away from acidic cleaners because they can damage wood over time. If you don’t know what your floors have been cleaned with, the best product to clean hardwood floors is a neutral, pH-balanced hardwood floor cleaner because it’s safe on all hardwood and laminate floors.

HOW DO YOU CLEAN HARDWOOD FLOORS?

Regular mopping just doesn’t reach the stubborn dirt that lies deep in the pores of your hardwood, but our hardwood floor cleaning process does. We use a high-speed rotary brush extraction machine and a neutral cleaning agent to break up tough dirt and contaminates. The final step is to go over the floor using a microfiber mop. Edges are hand scrubbed, as are stairs.

CAN YOU CLEAN MY HARDWOOD FLOORS IF THEY HAVE A WAX COAT?

Unfortunately, wax or other buildups can make hardwood difficult to clean and recoat. Our technicians can assess hardwood before cleaning and pretest to make sure cleaning methods are safe on your floors. However, any floors contaminated by the use of certain maintenance products may not be completely removed by our deep cleaning service. This includes products such as oil soap, furniture polish, acrylic wax, and wax. Additionally, the use of certain maintenance products may cause adhesion problems and/or failure of the recoating system. Floors contaminated by such products may need to be sanded and refinished.
